I read all the reviews, and I never did use the original formula! But for me this product works and my hair has changed in the last two years because of chemo. It gives me just the body I need without weighing it down! So, I am happy!

I've never really used mouse before because it just left my thin hair sort of greasy, but my roommate was using this Pantene mousse so I decided to try it, and I feel like it works just the way I want to. Despite the bad reviews, I don't have other Pantene mousses to compare this one to, so I think this is great. Gives just enough lift without weighing it down - and even adds shine! (which helps when the lack of humidity dries out my hair)

I like this product a lot. I have very fine hair and this mousse has proven to make it easy to style my fine hair and giving the volume I need for thin, fine hair. BUT, the dispensing mechanism requires considerable hand strength to use with ease.

I have arthritis in my hand and find that the dispenser button is too hard to depress to get the product out.

Volumizing Mousse for Fine Hair

I would bet that most people giving this product a positive rating have never used the old formula. Having used the new formula since March, and then finding one of the old in the back of my cabinet, I can now say with even more certainty that the old formula far out-shines the new. Please consider adding back whatever ingredients you removed. I now temporarily have my old body and shine back, and am loving it, for as long as this one last container lasts.

Wow, what happened? After using this product, my hair is dull and lifeless. No lift, volume or hold. I won't be using this product any more. I only gave a star because I had to.

We'd expect it to give you the extra volume for fine hair, but I'm sharing your disappointment with the rest of our team. In the meantime, I hope you'll try our Root Lifter Spray Gel to give your hair volume from the root. Hope this helps!

I have used Pantene volumizing products for many, many years. You have changed some products and eleminated my favorite. I will no longer be using your products as the new formulations do not do as well as the original formulas. Example, old volumizing mousse was freat, this one leaves my hair feeling firty and gummy. I am now searching for a new product. I will no longer recommend your products to friends

I used to use the Pantene Ice Shine Mousse - Maximum hold 4 and it was the best mousse ever!! Now I can't buy it (bad move on Pantene's part) so tried this mousse and it doesn't do anything on my hair. It doesn't add any lift or volume or hold. It's like I didn't even use it afterwards. I wish that Pantene would stop trying to improve their products and stick to the ones that really work. Bring back the Ice Shine!! It was so much better.

I have been using the Mousse for my fine hair for more than 10 years, but recently bought my first with the new packaging. Even after shaking the bottle, all I get is a lot of foam and no body or volume. Also, the dispenser takes a lot of pressure. I am afraid I will be moving away from Pantene unless the formula is changed back.

Why did you change the formula? The new formula is HORRIBLE - it doesnt hold at all. Neither does the new medium version. I had to go online to discount stores and buy 10 bottles - all the stock they had left and once it runs out I am DONE with Pantene. This is VERY disappointing as I have been using the same product for almost 10 years. Bring back the old formula.

I have been using pantene products for years. I especially liked the mousse. The new formula is awful! It doesn't give my thin, fine hair any body at all. I am switching to another company's products since I can't count on Pantene any longer. If I could give it 0 stars I would.

Bring back the old formula....this mousse does absolutely nothing! It makes my hair flat, straight and ugly. Had to go and buy different products. Have used Pantene for years, but it's time to say goodbye.

I am very disappointed with your redesigned product. I have used Pantene products for years with complete satisfaction. I was very happy with the Pro-V Volume mousse which gave my hair volume, an all day style and shine. I purchased the new fine mousse in which I am completely disatisfied. It smells good, however my hair no longer has the old shine. My hair looks looks very dull and the hold just isn't there. Unfortunately, I have to go with another product--Goodbye Pantene.
