I noticed the volume of my hair increase the first time I used this product. And with baby fine hair, that is saying something! I also like the 2 in 1 and that I am having no sensitive skin reactions to the conditioner which is a constant problem for me. I can't imagine switching to another product.

I had tried Pantene years ago but it left my fine (but heavy) hair feeling greasy and difficult to style. I used to skip conditioner completely to avoid the buildup. However, as I have gotten older I realzied that I need conditioner for the health of my hair so I decided to give Pantene another chance based on the new marketing campaign. I am so glad I did! This leaves my fine hair shiny and healthy and it delivers added volume as promised! Please keep this product in your lineup and maybe reconsider the old formula as well for all the people who loved it.

I don't know what these other people are complaining about. I too was confused and depressed to learn that my Full & Thick shampoo had been discontinued. As a male in my twenties with very thin hair, I thought the world was coming to an end when I learned I couldn't use my Full & Thick anymore.
However, after using this new formula for a few weeks now, this stuff in my opinion is way better than the old stuff. Yeah, it makes my hair feel a little goopy after I rinse the shampoo out (the old stuff left it smooth), but as far as making my hair thicker... WOW. The old shampoo barely made a difference. The new formula definitely makes my hair thicker. The smell is a little stronger, but you get used to it (I used to smell the old shampoo too until I got used to it).
Besides the goopy feeling, this shampoo cleans just as well as the last formula and leaves it looking just as healthy and smooth. Plus my hair is noticeably thicker now. I say to #& with the old formula. To those other people complaining... calm down. This new formula is awesome for thin hair.

I have tried numerous drugstore brands of shampoo/conditioner and really like this one! I have long, fine hair that gets flat (especially between haircuts). After using this for a week, I can already tell the difference. My hair is softer, smells nice, and has more shine than with other products. It has more volume than before, but that may be because I was using the wrong product for my hair type. I will definitely try the separate shampoo and conditioner in this line!

I am 45 yrs old with baby fine hair and lots of it. I have used many many products without luck. This easy 2 in 1 Shampoo and Conditioner saves time, water, and gives my hair some swingy sexy body. However, I will have to switch come colder weather because it does not moisturize enough for those cold air times.

The new formula is AWFUL!

I am a long-time Pantene Pro-V customer that has been using the old formula for the past year or two by buying the product online. Sadly, the supply seems to be finally used up, so I am now searching for a new brand. The new formula makes my hair less smooth and pretty sticky. This happens with ALL Pantene products, but the ingredient change was made throughout the product line. More specifically, the old formula used Ammonium Lauryl Sulfate and the new formula switched to the Sodium Lauryl Sulfate. So let me ask, why did this change happened? Why? Was this due to cost? Federal regulations? Why? Why? Why?

I still remember the ads promising something like 33 percent thicker hair. Since it was a Pantene product distributed through Proctor & Gamble; I thought this is going to be a superior product and it's going to do what it promises. Pantene Full and Thick - did live up to its promises. I tried it; I loved it; I spent the extra money to buy it - and now it's gone. Why? I have tried many products to thicken my thinning hair - Pantene Full and Thick was the only one which worked. The new Volume shampoo - is a definite downgrade, which leaves my hair looking just as thin as it is. I'm not sure why P&G would replace a superior product. I don't like to say this publicly because I own stock in P&G; but somewhere in the manufacturing of this new product, somebody got it wrong. Tide is a superior product; Dawn is a superior product, etc., etc., Pantene is supposed to be a superior product. Please bring back Full and Thick! Has Full and Thick become too expensive to produce? Please take note: women and vanity - we will always spend more money if a product make us look better.Forget about this new economy and bring back your superior product. pretty please!

I'm really sorry you miss Full and Thick, and that you haven't found a good replacement. I will definitely tell the marketing team that you miss the old product and that there have been others missing it too. The best advice I can give you with what we have to offer now is buy the Volume shampoo & conditioner separately vs. the 2-in-1 (some women find that they prefer them separate) and to also use our Root Lifter spray gel for an extra lift. It works really well - you just spray all over the hair and use a round brush when you blow dry it. I really hope you will try this - thank you so much for having faith in P&G products.

I have used your Full and Thick 2 in 1 for many years and was very happy with the product. The Flat to Volume 2 in 1 for fine hair is a terrible replacement. It feels like there is no conditioner in the product. Hair is tangled and hard to comb and feels dirty and greasy. Now I'm stuck with 2 bottles that I will never use again. Please bring back the Full & Thick 2 in 1.

I'm so sorry the Flat to Volume 2-in-1 did not have enough conditioning for your hair type! Our Flat to Volume collection has the lightest conditioning across all our collections, so the 2-in-1 is probably not your match. I think if you use the Flat to Volume shampoo and conditioner separately, you will see a big difference. If you love 2-in-1s, try Fine Dry to Moisturized 2-in-1. I LOVED Full and Thick 2 in 1 and used it for many years without ever switching shampoos. I found it to be a top of the line product, better than any professional shampoo on the market. So, after the change was made to the Pantene brand, I thought If it's Pantene, it's got to be great! Right?. Wrong! The new formula leaves my hair dull and lifeless, and I have tried several of them to be sure it was not me instead of the shampoo itself. So, now it's back to professional shampoos for me. However, if you bring back the previous formulas, I will be back!

I'm a loyal Pantene customer who has purchased their products for years and have been happy, but just like the other reviews posted for this product, I too, have had a bad experience with this one. I'm the type of person who usually suffers through the bottle of a product even if I don't like it, but with this one I am not even going to finish the bottle. I hate this shampoo. It leaves a texture to my hair that is dirty, and heavy. If Pantene wants to keep me as a customer, they should give me my money back for this bottle or give me a free bottle of shampoo.

This product is disappointing. It left my hair feeling flat and tangly. I have tried the flat to volume shampoo and conditioner separately and had much better results. I bought the 2 in 1 flat to volume but its not the same, I would not recommend buying this product.

Using this makes my hair a total mess. It's tangled and rough all the time. If I use a little too much my hair will look and feel like I covered it in gel. Big waste of money.

I'll join the choir of faithful customers of over 15 years who hate your new formula. I loved this line before and have used no other brand for more than 15 years. However, this new product leaves my hair feeling DIRTY. Not greasy, not over-conditioned, just sticky as if it hasn't been washed. Or as if I washed it with a bar of soap. It feels that way when wet, and when dry. Your responses seem to emphasize customers' sadness over losing their favorite shampoo, and you insist that the problem is in our inability to deal with change. So let me reassure you, I don't care about change and I'm not upset over losing my BFF of a shampoo. What I'm upset about is the drop in quality. This 2-in-1 does not wash my hair well, period. If your advice is to use conditioner separately, then why make a 2-in-1 at all? This product was great before. Please bring it back. I hope the wave of unhappy customers convinces you of your mistake. Otherwise, we're abandoning ship.

Do not recommend this product for anyone. Flat to Volumn should be named Flat to Flat Straw. Previous Full and Thick formula was siimply outstanding. I will never buy this product again. Look at your star ratings on your site. They speak to your error in changing your product;

I have used Pantene volumizing 2 in 1 for at least 15 years. When Pantene changed the product line, I couldn't find it in any of the stores I usually shop at and was disappointed because I could only find the separate flat to volume shampoo and conditioner, which I did not want to buy because I tried a sample of those and didn't like them. So I switched to another 2 in 1 brand. I was so excited to find the 2 in 1 at Target last weekend; however, I have used it for 4 days in a row now, and I absolutely hate it. It is NOT the same, not even comparable to the old formula. My hair is stuck to my head and looks greasy. I regret throwing out the other brand of shampoo I was using before I found this. I will not be purchasing Pantene again. So long, old friend!

I have used the Thick & Full 2 in 1 product for forever. Wouldnt leave home without it. This new formula is just horrible. My hair is anything but full! Today it was flatter than ever. Even my male co-workers teased me that I must have had a long weekend and didn't have time to do my hair today!!
Now tonight I have to go looking a spend a fortune on several products to try and find one that will work like your old one.
PLEASE bring back the old formula!!!

Switched to this after many years of using Volume 2-in-1, and I'm so disappointed. It leaves my hair heavy and greasy, and I heat style with a ceramic brush, so I can only imagine how much worse it would be if I didn't.
It's almost a consensus here that the old version was better, so the higher-ups at P & G would have to be fools to ignore this overwhelming feedback. I very rarely take the time out to register at a website just to write a negative review, so that should say something.
Bring back my old Volume 2-in-1, please!

I have been using Pantene for years. I am very disappointed with the new Fine Hair Solution 2 in 1. I got a new bottle a couple of weeks ago of the new stuff. Not only is my hair feels and looks awful everyday now, the scent is terrible. I had noticed this myself but was surprised when today my boss asked me what perfume I was wearing and when I told him that I don't wear perfume and the scent was my shampoo, he told me it smell awful and that he is allergic to the smell. I am very disappointed and will be immediately shopping for a new shampoo. The only way I will come back to Pantene is if they bring back the old formula. I will also be sending in for that 2X Cost Refund on the Satisfaction Guarantee Policy.

I had loved your former Pantene Pro-V Full & Thick 2 in 1 Shampoo & Conditioner. Bought it for years. Now I can't find it anywhere. So I go to your website to see where I can order it and see it's been discontinued!! :( So I try your new FLAT TO VOLUME 2-IN-1 SHAMPOO + CONDITIONER. Really don't like it at all. Leaves my hair heavy, dull, and feeling like it's got a whole lot of product in it.
Please bring back your former line of products so I can get the Full & Thick 2 in 1 once again.

I used to buy the one previous to this product and it would give my hair wonderful volume and my hair would feel clean for up to 2 days. This new brand that's out doesn't even last a day in making my hair feel clean and it doesn't create any volume. I feel it is not worth the money to buy, or to produce it.

I used pantene products for years and absolutely loved them. The new fine hair solutions. flat to volume is absolutely horrible. It makes hair feel dirty and sticky. I felt like washing my hands after touching my hair. Whose idea was this?? Please bring the old shampoo back (I know it's still sold in Europe - where I just bought 5 bottles).
I would not recommend this product for anything.

I tried the 2 in one fine to volume and was very disappointed. When rinsing my hair felt sticky like there was glue in it. After drying my hair looked dirty and flat and certainly did not have any volume. Please go back to the old formula as this product is terrible.

I had used Pantene when I was younger, and after seeing the ads for the new Flat to Volume products I decided to give them a try. Poor choice. My long, fine hair ordinarily lacks volume and gets oily easily, and the 2in1 only made matters worse. As soon as it's dry (I always let it dry naturally) it appears flat, dull and in need of a wash, and also makes me lose my natural wave. The only positive I can possibly find in this product is that it leaves my hair soft. At any rate, forget it outlasts the flop, there's no volume to start with!

I've used the 2 in 1 flat to volume Pantene for many years with great satisfaction. Whenever my hairstylist recommended an alternative I recommended Pantene to her!
The new formulation is AWFUL. It seems like there is zero conditioner in it. Instead of leaving my hair silky smooth and clean, it feels rough and 'sticky.'
PLEASE, I beg you, return to the previous formulation. I am already auditioning new products because the new Pantene is so awful.

I'd used the 2 in 1 for fine hair for years and it was great as it left my hair clean and light. With this new formula my hair feels flat and dirty, like it's been a long time since I washed it. Time to look for a new shampoo.

I have been buying Pantene shampoo/conditioner combinations for many many years. Several times I tried other products only to return to this brand. I can't describe just how upset and disappointed that these products have been so dramatically altered. Over the years there were some minor changes, but nothing incredibly different. This new formula leaves the hair feeling stuck together and my hair dried flat and static-y. I do not use a hair dryer or styling products, but let my hair dry naturally. So, it is without a doubt the new shampoo. I tried it twice with the same result. It finally occurred to me that there isn't enough conditioner in the new formula so last washing I used my husbands conditioner and my hair turned out normal - which should be fluffy and wavy, not dry, flat and stuck together. I'm shopping today for new product and I won't be back to Pantene. There are tons of shampoos on the market and I won't waste another dime on a company that clearly doesn't consider their customers.

I am very upset and disappointed in this new formula. I agree with all the one-star reviews - this product makes my hair feel gummy while I'm shampooing and and makes my hair look like straw after blow drying. Pantene, have you heard of if it ain't broke, don't fix it? This is the third formula change in the short time I've used Pantene, and I'm NEVER buying it again!

I used to use Pantene and loved every variety that I tried, but the new formulas are heavy and my hair doesn't feel clean after I use them. Please bring back the old formulas! I would NOT recommend the new ones at all.

I have been a loyal customer of the 2-in-1 volumizing shampoo/conditioner for the last 7 years. I got compliments all the time on how my hair smelled whenever I'd take it out of the bun (and the aroma filled the room). The old formula left my hair silky and shiny and I was a BIG fan. This new stuff is terrible... for days I'd been wondering why I felt so sweaty and gross all the time, and I finally realized when I get out of the shower, this new shampoo leaves my hair feeling dirty and gross like I just finished my workout and it lasts all day - what's the point of taking a shower now? The new stuff leaves a dull, sticky, stiff residue on my hair - yes it's volumizing - but at what cost? More hair sticks to the brush and breaks off because of the sticky coating. I'm begging you to bring the old formula back, and until you do I will be shopping for a new non-pantene shampoo :(

I have no problem with different kinds of shampoo, but hairspray and other products are everything. I absolutely hate the new hairspray. I used the old orange formula for thickening my fine hair but the new orange spray for find hair is awful. Cannot withstand humidity and leaves my hair sticky.
Anyone know of a secret stash of the old formula? Otherwise I'm in search of a new brand name.

This was a terrible product move! I the old products left my hair full of life and shine. It was very natural and required no styling. After being a highly satisfied customer of Pantene for close to 20 years, I find this new line of products TERRIBLE. Having fine hair and short on time, I chose the 2-in-1 for fine hair. I am very dissapointed in the new line of Pantene products! The addition of sodium sulfates to all of their shampoos has made my hair very dry-- even when using the so-called moisturing formulas. Their 'old' line was fantastic and I used it for years. Now I'll need to buy all of the 'old' products I can find. If they want to introduce a new line, fine, but not as a replacement of something that is already good.

I agree with the other reviews-- I too would have given the product no stars if that was possible! I've used Pantene for many years and am furious that they feel the need to throw out the entire line every few years. It shows a complete lack of confidence in what USED to be a great product, as well as a total disregard for their longtime (formerly satisfied) customers. This shampoo/conditioner leaves my hair so horribly prone to knotting that I cannot get even a thick-toothed comb through my hair (wet or dry) without ripping it to pieces-- and I have short hair! Bring back the previous line-- it was great!

I agree, I absolutely HATE the new formula! I've been using the old thick n full for years - chasing all the changes in bottle/label looks to find it because I loved it. The new formula creates a weird glue like consistency when rinsing, leaving hair heavy as if it has gel in it. I'm actually scared to use it in fear of it pulling more hair out than I normally would lose in the shower. It actually DOES do just the opposite of what it claims. I would also give it zero stars if I could, and bumbed I have to find another shampoo. Please bring it back!!!

I hate the new formula. The old one made my hair shiny and bouncy and this one does just the opposite. It actually looked worse AFTER I washed it. I would give it zero stars if I could.
