I have tried every conditioner and leave in treatment on the market, from both the salon and retail stores and have nothing that compares this project. I have colored shoulder lenth hair that is dry and frizzy -- I actually use a dab of this after every shampoo. It's wonderful! I've had a lot of difficulty finding this product in the stores, which has worried me that possibly it may be being discontinued. I was able to buy three from amazon today.

I use Pantene Curly for my 4b, natural curls. I wasn't impressed with the Curly Deep Treatment. I used the Medium-Thick and my curls are moist, springy and bungee, even on the second day!
For those who were in love with the Moisture Renewal Deep Treatment, this one is even better!

There were a lot of negative reviews on this but it seemed to work for me. my hair is very thick and natuarally curly and very long so i straighten it a lot and my hair got a lot of damage done to it. ive only used this once and my hair is a lot softer then it was yesterday..im replacing this for my non- pantene conditioner once a week but im thinking about switching to pantene all together.

I have extremely curly and thick hair. I tend to die my hair a lot and my hair always gets incredibly damaged. Recently, I tried to lighten up my hair and I bleached it to form blond highlights. Because I have dark hair, the color ended up being a brassy orange. I ended up redying it the next day back to dark brown. Naturally, this really messed up my hair. Without a clue, I rushed to the store to find a treatment. I saw this and I picked it up along with the ampoules, gel, hairspray, shampoo, and conditioner. The first day I used the shampoo, conditioner and the treatment. After this there was no need for the other products because the treatment performed miracles for my hair. After two uses of the treatment, my hair is softer and smoother than it's ever been! I highly recommend the Medium-Thick hair care line from Pantene.

I got everything I wanted from this product!! I have really wavy/curly hair and I used it this morning and it made my hair really soft and loucious. It defined my curls really well, and it felt like i came from the salon. It is prefect for anti-breakage and it repaired my dead and split ends.

I really liked this conditioner. It doesnt take rocket science to use. You wash you hair and then apply it as a deep conditioning treatment to your hair. Works great for a weekly deep condition. Leaves your hair super soft and silkly. Dont like many Pantene products but this one is really nice!!

This is the best thing from the new line that I bought. I used to use the moisture renewal hydrator which I love more. But this one is great too. It smells the same as the new line but it moisturizes so much better than the dry to moisturized line. Its great if your hair is chemically processed and you want a quick fix for a day or 2. Will keep buying cuz it made my hair really soft and shiny.

The good: I like the product and it makes my hair feel very soft.
The bad: The packaging is poorly thought out and problematic. While I appreciate that I can get every drop out of the box-shaped container, it seems wholly unnecessary when a traditional tube with a flip top would have done the job. First of all, the lid is too large for my hand to twist off easily. Second, the inner seal says replace lid after each use. I assume that this refers to the inner lid itself and not the black outer lid. The inner lid is very hard to open when it is in a wet, steamy shower, and it makes the whole process cumbersome---open black lid with wet hands, open inner seal with wet hands, scoop out product in one hand, put container downbut now lids are both off while shower water runs into box until I can get product applied to hair. Why? Why not use a regular bottle that can be more easily handled? Finally, the instructions under the label are unclear: Apply to hair starting at the roots and work towards tips . . . proceed to your style routine. Do I shampoo and/or condition first or apply to dry hair and then shampoo? I realize that this isnt rocket science, but it also seems easy enough to have written After shampooing, apply to hair starting at roots . . .

I also recognize that the instructions are confusing. Shampoo first, and then apply the Intense conditioner in place of your regular conditioner. Leave on for 5 minutes, and rinse.

I have thick hair that's never been treated with heat or chemicals, but it's still brittle, so I was excited to try this. However, I felt like it disappeared into my hair almost immediately after applying it and I like to feel the conditioner making my hair smoother in the shower. It did moisturize pretty well, but I have better deep conditioners and this is not Pantene's best. Maybe if you have normal hair, but I was disappointed.

Hoenstly, just bring back the deep fortifying conditoner. It was a great product and this doesn't even compare. These new products aren't doing the job. And yes, I have already tried the beautiful lengths products. Just not as good!

Please please PLEASE bring back the Deep fortifying treatment!! I am growing my hair because I am donating it to charity. I donated to Locks of Love 3 times, and this time I plan to donate to Beautiful Lengths. When I grew it out the last time, I used the Deep Fortifying Treatment EVERY DAY, and it was the only thing that kept my hair from breaking. The sooner I could get my hair to the required length, the sooner I could start growing it for another donation. My hair is breaking and I miss my DFT!

Happy to help! You'll want to use the Pantene Intensive Restoration Treatment once a week in combination with your regular Pantene Shampoo and Conditioner. Apply to hair starting at the roots and working toward tips and leave on for 5 minutes then rinse thoroughly. The directions are under the peel and stick side label. Thanks for your question.

I have wasted so much money trying all of your conditioners, including this one, and none of them are as good as Pro-V Deep fortifying. For years my hair looked great. The frizz was under control, until you discontinued the product. I almost thought this product would be the answer. Turns out the consistency is just like any other conditioner, not thick at all. I have decided not to use any more Pantene products until you bring back the old one.

I don't like any of the new products! They make my hair feel like I have a coat of grease or something in my hair. And they dry out my hair. PLEASE bring back the deep fortifying treatment! That stuff was a miracle hair product.

I was hoping that it would bring a noticeable different to my hair, but really it felt just as effective as a much cheaper counterpart. All in all, it felt like a cheap conditioner repacked as a premium product.

I should have had my glasses on when I bought this. It is the EXACT same formula as the Curly Dry to Moisturized Conditioner that I used daily. The difference that it is packed in a jar with less product and nearly twice the price! I am very disappointed that a brand that I have used and trusted for years would seek to deceive its customers in this way.

I have been searching and spending so much to try and find a product that will give me the restoration I crave. I've used everything aside from the ampoules which I can never find in a store, and I don't want to spend any more money. I have been trying to grow my hair past my shoulders for three years. Three years! And I'm not the type to use a handful of product and write it off. I don't even flat iron my hair anymore because of my distress, and this product was no different for me than anything else. Yes, it detangles, but so does everything else and this was something I had such high hopes for. I used it in conjunction with the shampoo & conditioner as well and nothing. I actually shed some tears when I was faced with yet another disappointment.0

Put regular conditioner in a square shaped container and call it a hair treatment. Pretty much same ingredients, not creamier, or thicker, with zero difference in results from everyday conditioner by pantene. Basically everyday conditioner re-branded. Very Dissapointed.

There is no reason this product should be in a tub, it has the same thin consistency as their other conditioners (to see the tub on its side in the picture looks like false advertisement). It did nothing to re hydrate or restore my hair- and it's not surprising when you look at the ingredients. If you want a true deep moisture mask, look elsewhere.

This may be the worst product I have ever put in my hair.
It does not moisturize. Leaves hair feeling dry when it rinses out - not conditioned. And once my hair has dried, I find it coated with grease from this product. This is pure serum - nothing more. What an epic dupe! Do not buy this crap.
I had to powder my hair after using this because it was soooo greasy!
Please bring back your old product line. The new stuff is just dreadful!

i was looking for a replacement for the old pantene pro v deep fortifying treatment, but this wasn't as good as i remember the old product being. so i ordered the old version from amazon.com and when it came i was so pleased. it wasn't just in my head, the old products really did work better! i'll keep hoping that pantene returns to the old formulas... :(

I'm so disappointed with this replacement product. I loved your Deep Fortifying Treatment and had used it for many years. This new product doesn't even compare. My daughter and I, who have very different hair texture, both used these products and agree. Why did you replace a product with such an inferior one? Has your marketing team even tried to use this square, impossible to open, wasteful jar in the shower? We are both looking for a new replacement fortifier. Unfortunately for you, it will not be a Pantene product.

I just finally used a sample that came with my Pantene Shampoo and I absolutely loved it!!!! ( Pantene Pro-V Pro Vitamin Deep Fortifying Treatment.) I've searched several stores and cannot seem to find it so I came to our website... Now I see why I can't find it. You've discontinued it! The stuff works great! What would possess you to stop selling it? I'll keep looking at other brands to find what I want as Pantene has now lost another long time customer!!!

Pathetic Replacement

I have gone all over town to find the restoration product that you had before this new replacement, because there was nothing on the market that was better. Now I find myself looking for a new product to replace the new version because it just doesn't work!
Why in the world would you take it off of the market in the first place? Please return it to the shelves in our stores. Or at least allow those of us who need it, to be able to order it on line.

I loved the Deep Fortifying Treatment, wish that you would bring it back. The replacement is a disappointment. It does not work as well. Hair does not feel as good as it used to with DFT. The square packaging is hard to use in a shower and is very wasteful of product. The only good thing I can say that this is the only one of your new products that I like the way it smells. I have tried many of your new products and am not happy with the changes. The conditioners smell chemically and are very off-puttting. I have been a faithful Pantene user for 10+ years and now I am starting over with looking for and finding different products that work as well as the DFT.

I do not like this product. I used to use the restorative in the jar with the black lid. This stuff is awful. Doesn't moisturise. Doesn't even detangle. It isn't rich and creamy like the old. It's thin and runny. Don't buy, you'll be disappointed. Smells good though.

I got this product after using their Time Renewal treatment (loved) thinking I'd get the same or better results. Boy was i wrong! My hair was worse after this stuff! Split ends, frizzy, unmanageable. I had to get more Time Renewal to repair the damage! I'll never buy this again!

Inferior product, I am so disappointed

Pantene has discontinued their deep fortifying treatment so I bought this product which is a weekly deep conditioner as well. It does not compare to the old formula, this new conditioner is awful. It leaves your hair tangled and dry, don't even bother trying it because you will be really disappointed. The packaging is awkward too, unscrew the top, scoop out the conditioner, good luck keeping water out of the container. The squeeze tube with attached cap made so much more sense.If you have already bought this product then send pantene your receipt for a refund.
