Before using Pantene I would buy expensive shampoo/conditioner expecting great results. My first week using Pantene fine hair solution products and Im in love it with it. My hair feels full and has a lot of volume. The great part of it is that i didn't have to spend more than 10.00 to have great manageable hair..

This is the best shampoo I've tried in a really long time. I've been going through a trial-and-error phase with several drugstore and salon brands the last couple of years. I have been looking for a product that cleanses really well without drying or further damaging my fine fragile hair. Most shampoos that clean well cause breakage and make my hair feel rough and add to the damage I already have. Shampoos that are gentler and kinder are usually too heavy for my fine hair and I'll end up with oily roots before 24 hrs has past and will need to rewash. But this one is everything I needed, I am really loving this product. I will certainly repurchase! I regret not loving a few of the other new Pantene products, but I think that's because I was picking the wrong products for my hair type. This product is wonderful!

Loving the Flat to Volume Collection

Pantene so generously sent me the full Flat to Volume Collection including the shampoo, conditioner and lifting spray and after a month of use, I'm in love!!! I have very fine thin and flat hair which has gotten longer than I like to keep it so I have always struggled with volume issues. I will find a product that I think works, and then after 2 weeks of use my hair looks the same as it did before. Until now!!! After one month of use my hair looks fuller and healthier every day that I have used these products and I could not be happier. It also smells so heavenly! I love that after a full day of running down kids, my hair still smells fresh and fragrant like it was just washed. Finally a product that can hold up to their claims of effectiveness...such a breath of fresh air.

I don't get all the hate for the new product--I really like it. I used the old volumizing shampoo and conditioner and it was just okay. Made my hair look kind of dull. This one gives me body and makes my hair shiny as well. I don't use anything else anymore--I used to rotate Pantene with other products. I guess I'm in the minority but I love it!

I'm writing to review the new Fine Hair Solutions Flat to Volume shampoo. It's really nice. It smells great, lathers well and seems to clean hair like a clarifier which is why I bought it. Pantene discontinued their clarifying shampoo (tears shed) but I think this clear, thick shampoo is its replacement. Try it out if you want to get really squeaky clean hair.

I have very fine, usually shiny undyed hair. I wanted a shampoo that might give my hair a little bit more volume since its pretty flat. I picked up this shampoo-conditioner set as soon as I saw the commercials and tried it out. It didn't do anything volume-wise for my hair, even when I blow dried it with a round brush. I actually noticed that since I have been using this shampoo, my hair has become drier. All around a pretty average buy.
The one thing I will say for this product is that it smells AMAZING and the fragrance really stays in my hair all day.

Bring back the Full and Thick Line. I keep reading this and hope you listen to your customers because as like so many others I will be looking for a new shampoo and conditioner. I have been a loyal happy customer for years but the new Fine Volume line is awful. It dulls my hair, makes it fall out more, and does nothing for the volume nor does it make it feel clean. Full and Thick was the only one I have found that worked really well for ultra fine hair. I do not color or treat my hair so it was pretty healthy until I started using the Fine Volume line and now it is so dry.

Hi! I think you also left a review for the conditioner, right? You definitely need more conditioning. The Fine Volume line is very light. You could try Normal-Thick Volume, or even Fine Moisture Renewal paired with our Fine Root Lifter Spray. I'm so sorry you were disappointed.

The amount of time it takes to buy your shampoo is crazy!!! I have had to research and spend time on your site and do a profile so that I can ask a question,
In the past I used Clarifying Shampoo which I loved. Then it disappeared and I took a chance with Fragile to Strong and it was OK. Now that is gone...what do I do? I want the Clarifying Shampoo. Do you even have it anymore?

Hi there, I'm so sorry it's taken so much effort to find the right Pantene shampoo for you. We stopped making the Clarifying shampoo a couple years ago. Flat to Volume and Fragile to Strong are still available. They received slight name changes - Flat to Volume is now just 'Fine Volume' and Fragile to Strong is now 'Anti-Breakage.' You might also consider our new Aqua Light! It's all about 100 nourishment without the weight. Hope that helps.

I can not begin to describe my utter disbelief as to why Pantene discontinued their Full & Thick line and replaced it with this. I have tried several shampoo/conditioner combinations including this one since they discontinued Full & Thick and my hair is thinner and limper than it has been in years! This shampoo is awful, it made my hair frizzy, dry, and completely unmanageable. I felt like a clown. The Full & Thick shampoo was pure gold, why would you stop making a slam dunk product??? It was a miracle for my thin hair and made it thick and shiny without making it frizzy or dry. I felt like I had someone else's awesome hair! Now I am on a desperate search for a hair product that can even hold a candle to that one and I am not having much luck. Any tips on where I can get some of the old stuff so that I can have my hair back? :(

Terrible product. Dried out my hair, turned it to straw. A few days later I notice A LOT of hair in my brush. I had to buy salon deep conditioners to repair the damage. I want a refund and my hair back. Who works in your R/D? Shame on you for putting this misrepresented and toxichem product on the market ! I'm done with Pantene products.

I've used Pantene for so many years I've forgotten exactly how many. But I finished my last bit of Thick and Full, and now I'm using another brand. THICK AND FULL WAS THE BEST SHAMPOO I EVER USED. Nothing you have now is even close to Thick and Full. It would be a real good idea to bring THICK AND FULL back to your product line, because like most everyone else who've taken the time to write a review, I'm no longer a Pantene customer. I'm not happy about that, but your new line is just awful. Bring back Thick and Full, and I'll come back, as will most of your other former customers. But not until then.

I began using Pantene back in 1994. My favorite was the Volume. I've tried their new offering, the large bottle just to give it a fair try. It is very disappointing. They've lost me as a customer.

I've been a pantene thick and full user for many years,and love the way my hair did always got compliments on how great my hair looked. I've tried about 100.00 of your new products, hate them all.my hair looks like ---- looking for a new product somewhere else. I would come back to pantene only if you brought back thick and full.

Won't buy Pantene anymore, my hair is flat and flying away and after many months of trying I'm giving up. After 10 years of loving Pantene and able to find different types during your many transitions, I am no longer able to find anything like what you used to offer. I loved your volumnizing, ice shine, clarifying, and smooth and sleek especially. I have had terrible results with your new line, incl: medium thick, fine hair, and classic care. I am now looking for another product. Please bring back your old products, they made my hair thicker, smoother, and I had much more volumne. The clean scent was nicer too..

I have always loved Pantene's Full & Thick. This new line is so bad!! I took it all back for a refund. It made my hair like straw. I've switched to another brand and I hope that you will re-do this line in the near future. I would try Pantene again, but not until it's changed.

I have a feeling the people who gave this product more than one star did so because they were either forced or liked the smell. As a faithful Pantene customer, I'd just like to say that I'm devastated to say the very least. This line is horrible, unacceptable and it makes my hair feel and look like straw. I didn't spend over 15 on hair products that I thought I could trust, only to find that my hair was in worse condition than it was BEFORE I used them. Why did you get rid of the Full & Thick line? I used to be able to just wash/condition my hair, throw some Full & Thick mousse in it and go, knowing that I'd airdry with a style that would last all day and look great. What is even more devastating is that I'm reading all these reviews from women who are asking the SAME QUESTION, and yet, Pantene does nothing to satisfy them. Why? Go back to the old formula, this isn't working and now I have a bathroom full of Pantene products that don't work. I want a refund and Full & Thick mousse in my mailbox A.S.A.P.

I always loved to splurge and buy your products, but the new products just don't give my hair that body and feeling! My hair is just flat and isn't impressive anymore. And I've tried many of the new types. I wish you hadn't taken away the old line! You've also taken away your silver expressions! I had to hunt and hunt for the last bottles of that when my grandmother found out. She says that no other product controlled the yellowing like that one. We're very, very disappointed and will not purchase any more products unless the old line returns.

I have been a faithful user of the Pantene Volume line for a very LONG time. They have discontinued that line in favor of this new & improved line. Well, in good faith I tried it for a couple weeks.
SORRY PANTENE, THIS STUFF DOES NOT WORK. This new formula leaves my hair dull and super staticky and extremely flyaway...what a HUGE DISAPPOINTMENT. No volume, no shine, no manageability. My hair is very fine and sensitive, and I must say I settled on the Pantene Volume line after trying a LOT of others...from off the shelf to salon lines. Believe me...been there, done that. If I could give a negative star rating here I would.
How incredibly stupid and short-sighted of Pantene to discontinue this line, and all the others. From a HUGE selection of speciality product lines, that showed they recognized that all hair types and conditions are not the same, and showed respect for consumers' preferences and choices, down to only 4 sub-standard choices...well. Even the new name shows lack of respect to their consumers. Flat indeed!!
I will now have to stock up on my regular Volume favorites at premium prices from elsewhere and try and find something else that works when that runs out. I am extremely annoyed & disappointed (understatement...)! Just one more thing that I love, discontinued once again.
Once I find a new product line that works, you may rest assured that I will NEVER buy another Pantene product ever again.

Why did you discontinue the clarifying shampoo? Please bring back the clarifying shampoo. If it wasn't successful enough for you, it's because you didn't market it properly. My hairdresser told me to use a clarifying shampoo years ago. I have used Pantene products for 15 years. I don't like your new classic clean shampoo either. I had to stop using your conditioner because of it. Who told you to change it? You have made a big mistake!

A True Dissapointment

After using Pantene's Full & Thick line for over 10 years I have finally finished my last bottles of shampoos and conditioners. I stocked up once I found out they were discontinuing the old lines. I have been using the Fine to Volume line for about 3 weeks now and I have had enough. I no longer get the thickness with the control and manageability I had with the Full & Thick line. This product just makes my hair frizzy and unmanageable. I'm sure some consultant told P&G that the product lines would be more profitable if they were consolidated. While that may be true, bottles of the Full & Thick a that are still out there are being sold by online resellers for 30-70 for a pair of bottles....you think they would have done their research and just charged a few extra bucks, instead of canceling the whole line. Reviews consistently put Full & Thick shampoo and conditioner on top for the best thickening shampoo. I guess better start my search for a new shampoo that works half as well and costs 4x as much.

Have been using Pantene for years and years. My hair has always been long and curly and Pantene products have always worked great..... Until now! I thought I was loosing my mind or that something was suddenly wrong with my hair!
No matter what product I use, my hair felt like straw. I am so glad to read these reviews from women with the same problem. Now I know I'm not loosing my mind

I have thin, superfine blonde hair, but this shampoo gives my hair bounce like no other product has been able to. Even without the conditioner, my hair is smooth and has a little bit of extra volume to it! I love this shampoo!
